Building this sedan was spread out over a couple years because of the problems I had chopping the roof and my changing mind. At first it was gonna be a fat fendered prostreet so i cut up the chassis and interior. I constructed a chassis and just had to rebuild the interior. when the roof fell apart, Hell I should have known a sane person wouldn't have even tried to chop this roof. The roof was cut into seven pieces then put back to gether with filler piecs inbetween to line everthing back up. The first 2 times i tried to work with it like that it fell apart in my hands, on the third and last attempt Ilayed a coat of 5 minute epoxy on the inside of the roof. This time it all held together and I had decided to build it as a straight custom grabing a chassis from a 40 ford coupe. I added the daul head lights and took a pie cut out of the hood so it sat lower. After the body was smoothed out I layed on a couple layer of a dark red paint followed by a green to gold flip-flop paint and 2 shots of clear. Now I had to deal with the interior I had cut up to make it a prostreet. I took the custom interior from a 57 Ford Fairlane, I had to make the rear seat narrower and fill out the edges. I made a shifter from a straight pin and a skull from the Rigor Mortise Hot Wheels. I'm happy with the final result. The body is from the AMT 39/40 Sedan even though I was kcocked out of a contest because a judge thought it was a resin body
